Short stroll

Today we went out for lunch at Newmarket. We went to a diner called Tucks & Bao. We ordered three baos, and a box of chips. The waiter accidentally ordered two baos, though, so we ended up waiting longer than expected. After we got the food, we ate it (of course). The bao was good, and chips were average. Now, whilst we are pondering in the talk of bao, I should explain what a bao is. A bao is a smoothened dough bun, with a filling of either chicken or pork. The bun is wrapped on one side, like a taco shell, and has a mayo-like sauce in the filling that has sesame seeds mixed in. We took a lot of pictures, but sadly I didn’t have the time to download them onto the Mac.

After we ate, we went down to the “children’s” area of Newmarket; the field. It had a grammar school doing some fitness training, people taking selfies, and was quite the usual, eventful place.

We then went down to the store AS Colour, and my mum bought something for herself (after a lot of choosing!)

Then, after a little stroll in depth of the wonder at Newmarket, we went back home.
