India #10: Ready for Ranchi

Challenge: Find a place called Ranchi on the map. Ranchi is a small town in Jharkhand, a state of India.

Ranchi is a town. It is home to my other set of grandparents, as well as my aunt and uncle, who are also coming to visit for the occasion. My dad will be leaving early, on the 15th of October, while me and my mum stay until the 18th. Using a bit of info, I found out that Ranchi has a national dish, dhooska. We are leaving to Ranchi tomorrow, but it is unknown if I am going to write there or not. The flight to Ranchi will be 45 minutes, and we will be greeted by my grandparents.

My MOTHER’S RANCHI HISTORY

My mother was born in a different town that wasn’t Ranchi, instead called Balurghat. When she was 1 year old, her, her brother, her mum, and her dad, moved to Ranchi. When she was 3, she attended D.A.V. school. She met some friends, and they still catch up by texting each other. She attended D.A.V. until she started uni at B.I.T. university, where she studied architecture. When she was young, her and my uncle had a fondness of Pac-Man. They had it on their computer, and they used fight over who played first. The last time my mum went to Ranchi was 2014. After that, we met my mum’s parents in Teghoria, a close small town/village near Kolkata.
