The Belt

Hello! So, as you all may or may not know, I do Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art based on self-defence.

In Jiu-Jitsu, you have a gi (your uniform), gi pants ((your uniform pants and a belt.

The most important is the belt.

Andddd, I left my belt there a couple days ago.

So, when I realised, you may sympathise with me for getting a bit mad.

So, my mum texted the place, and the next morning, they replied.

Hello, it is us from Jiu Jitsu. We will try find your belt, but someone might, might, (very big might) have taken it and thought it was theirs.

I was so scared, I almost decided not to go. But then I sucked it up and went.

The assistant instructor from Jiu-Jitsu, who answered the message as well, apparently found the belt and left it on the desk next to the mat.

I was so happy, you don’t even know. My dad was also talking to the assistant instructor, and she said that someone (a junior instructor) noticed the belt left in the changing room and took it home. Then, when they came back, they returned it and gave it to the instructors.

Well, this was nice. Mum, Dad, the assistant instructor, the main instructor (the Sensei) and the junior instructor all helped me with my belt problem.

That was my best Jiu-Jitsu class in ages.
