TheOdd1sOut | Book Review

Hello! I know it has been a long time since I have posted (around 20 days or so), but I am back! I have been reading a few books, so there are a load of new book reviews coming up soon (including this one)!

Anyways, I have recently been reading a 2-book series called TheOdd1sOut, by James Rallison. The books are about numerous true stories in James’ life, and they are all very funny!

In this post, I will be reviewing the first book, the cover of which you can see here:

So, lets get started with the review!:

Why did I like the book?

I liked the book because of the funny stories in it, and also the simple drawings. The funny way in which James writes his books is something I really enjoy reading, and there are stories about James’ elder brother, playing laser tag, his sister’s artistic talents, his short-lived pet moth, and many more funny things in his life.

Which characters appealed to me the most?

This book is pretty unique, because the only main character is James himself, but there are many good side characters, like James’ older brother Luke, his twin sister Faith, the four Hunters and Balake.

So all in all, my favourite character was James!

Is this book suitable for all readers?

I think the book is suitable for readers 10 and above.

Am I interested in reading more books by the same author?

I have read the other Odd1sOut book, called The First Sequel, and I will review it soon!
