Yummy Me Feels So Good – Book Review

Today, I read “Yummy Me Feels So Good” by the author “Lion I Am”.

The book is about all the different personalities (“me’s”) in our lives. You can be an angry “me” or a sad “me” or happy “me”. Your different feelings make you who you are.

Why did I like the book?

I liked the book because the illustrations were fabulously textured, and they were simple, yet so good! Also, the book spreads a positive message. It states that you can have a lot of different emotions, and they can come and go, but you should try and stay calm when you get angry, sad or grumpy. All the different emotions are all part of yourself.

Which characters appealed to me the most?

My favourite character, or “me” was the grumpy “me”, because he was a really angry-looking pufferfish, and looked hilarious!

Is this book suitable for all readers?

The book is great to read by yourself when you’re over 5, but if parents want to read the book to younger children, they would like reading it together as well. I read it on our YouTube channel for all to watch.

Am I interested in reading more books by the same author?

I am really looking forward to see Lion I Am’s next book, and hopefully I will review it here.
