India #5: Stories, studies, stuff

In India, as well as Auckland, my mother uses a social media app to share what’s going on in your life. She doesn’t post regularly, but she checks out her feed every day, to find quotes and stories. People write inspiring quotes about books, movies, life, food, people, and anything else you can imagine! People write stories as well, which is about the only thing on the app that doesn’t involve pictures. Even as I enjoy rating the things with my options: Like, Love, Wow, Haha, Sad, and Mad, I know that I have to do things more important. So that’s why, even though i’m in India on a vacation, I am using the computer to study. Some things are actually harder to study when you are in India. One of my math websites from school is set onto India country mode, which means my account isn’t on it. I had to keep scrolling for 5 minutes to get to New Zealand country mode, and then, since the screen is bigger back home, the scroll wheel here works faster. So, it took me another 5 minutes to get to the lesson I was up to. And another 5 to complete it! That deserves a “I feel sorry for you” rating. Now, the research area. I ask my parents about India quite a lot. For example, most cars in Calcutta have a number plate starting with the letters “WB” I asked my mum why, and she said it’s because Calcutta is in West Bengal. As well as all this, I do explore new things each day, not just the same old. I’ll be back soon!! Bye!
