On our YouTube channel, we have discussed the hilarious story of King Canute.

What happens is: There’s this king called Canute the Great whose stooges believed that he had eternal power. So, he went to the beach and asked the tide to “STOP! Do not wet my feet and robes!” – the tide, (as you probably guessed) wet his feet and robes. He then hung his crown on a crucifix and swore to never wear it again. He started to believe that the power of kings was actually worthless!
