Comical reaction
Tonight, we created a video of a book called “Tintin: The Blue Lotus”. This was an especially hard video to make. I was about to give up. However, I was motivated to get it right. I mean, who gets annoyed because they can’t make a decent voice recording (everyone), but seriously! I had to do

Every time we go to India, we visit our ancestral home in Kalighat. Our house in Kalighat is an important part of our family. My grandfather grew up in that house. Kalighat is famous for Kali Temple. It is a very densely populated area in South Kolkata. Kalighat is home to my “mishtikaka” (my uncle),

The unique thing where everyone in one certain space, gathers together to eat (also known as community dining). We have such community dining in our building, Mecon Tower. One of the most beautiful things about Bengal is

India #6: Lights, Camera, Action!
Last night, my grandfather starred in two movies. Not really, but he did two theater stage performances. The first one, had him as a lawyer. People came asking him for money to create something, and he kept kicking them out. At the end, somebody came to give him his money back. The guy made my

India #5: Stories, studies, stuff
In India, as well as Auckland, my mother uses a social media app to share what’s going on in your life. She doesn’t post regularly, but she checks out her feed every day, to find quotes and stories. People write inspiring quotes about books, movies, life, food, people, and anything else you can imagine! People
