The One and Only

India #15: The city of joy

Today was our flight back to Kolkata. My father, uncle, and aunt had already left. Today, my grandparents, my mother, and I, are going to Teghoria, a town in Kolkata. On our flight, we went to the airport. Then we got our tickets checked, but skipped the boarding pass printing, since we had printed our boarding passes before. We then went to the baggage x-ray, scanned our bags, and went for the baggage drop. The drop was easy, and during the drop we also got official, fresh boarding passes. Then, we went on to security. This time, I was lucky, I actually understood everything he said in Hindi (thank you, Google Translate) because I’ve been teaching myself how to speak Hindi. Then we went to our gate, and had a break. I took the chance to text my relatives about us being at security. My uncle asked if we got the seats he booked online for us, and I checked on the boarding pass. Shockingly, my mum and I were supposed to have seats next to each other, but somebody messed up! We went for a reprint, and we were assigned the seats 5E and 5F. I finally stopped panicking, and took deep breaths. It was now all good. When we boarded the flight, I took a video of take-off. After that, I spotted some unusual clouds, and….yeah. That’s it for the flight. When we reached the airport, we claimed our luggage. Then, we went on a cab to Teghoria, and here is where the post comes in. Bye!
