In India, street shopping is one of the most common things people do. There are stores pretty much everywhere, and people blare their horns to get to the right place on the car. I didn’t mention, though, that some of the stalls aren’t very nice (for example, those that sell meat on the street markets). There are so many street stalls, almost 50% of the time, you have to walk on the road!

People nearby would by rum-balls, which are a popular sweet (or মিশ্তি, or mishti) and tea and coffee, (tea known as ছা) The ultimate goal for people in these stalls would be to make enough money to expand it, and later, with a bit of time, they can create a whole restaurant, or store! The stalls are all around West Bengal and probably other regions of India as well.
Sweet stalls are one of the places that are really popular, and part of it is thanks to the two-man Indian show FoodKa. Watch this video with subtitles if needed, and you will want to eat these sweets as well.
Hungry yet? No? Then go along to India and try these for yourself! Mmmmm…..this rum-ball is so good!
