Today I went to Aucklands one and only, Lumino: The Dentists. I had a dental checkup because of a tooth cap that was causing me occasional eating problems. I really (and everyone probably does) dislike going the dentist. Even my dentist today, admitted that it’s not that “fun” going to a dentist. As I was driven in, I saw an advert about braces in front of the clinic. I was honestly worried about them giving me braces, but then I realised that I am still growing 2 of my adult teeth, so it would be impossible to put braces on. The dentist was really nice and gentle. I, with a “world famous” gag reflex, didn’t gag ONCE in their treatment. At the end of the checkup my dentist gave me some tablets to chew on after brushing to dye all the parts I didn’t brush and make them pink. Even now, my parents are proud of me for not gagging at all and showing “dental courage”. This was also my least painful dental experience, despite my gum still bleeding in places.
