Hello! It’s been a while since the last Olympic Update, but in that while, something CRAZY has happened in the Olympics.

Emma McKeon of Australia has gotten SEVEN MEDALS, which ties her at the record by any female Olympian. The record was first set by the gymnast Maria Gorokhovskaya of the Soviet Union in the 1952 Summer Olympics.

Today, we’ve also had the women’s shot put, where Gong Lijiao won gold, Raven Saunders won silver and Valerie Adams won bronze. Pretty cool!

The mens 4×100 metre medley relay also happened today, with the U.S. winning gold, Britain winning silver and Italy winning bronze.

A lot of cool things happened, mostly in swimming, but cool nonetheless!
