The One and Only

India #13: Blast To The Past

Today my father went back to Kolkata, and my uncle, my mother, and I, went to drop him off at the airport. When we were going back to the flat, we stopped by at the local grocery store, Reliance. When we were going to Reliance, we thought all we needed was batter, but my uncle and mother eyed some things other. Even I did, but all I eyed was Indian spaghetti. We were grabbing some wafers, and my mum eyed some toffees that she and her brother (the uncle who is mentioned in this post quite a lot) used to eat. We then got some macaroni, 2 minute noodles, milk, biscuits, cookies, another box of wafers, and lastly, the batter. We also got some raw peanuts in a paper bag. After that, we went on the drive back home. My mum pointed out the school she and my uncle used to go to, and that it had the same uniform for over 40 years. She also pointed out their house that was right next to the school, but still one day she was late! Not late to finish this post, though. Bye!
